R.S.Pura: A grand farewell was given to Shri Ramnish Gupta, SP Hqrs Jammu by the Police officers of Sub Division R.S.Pura, on his transfer from SP Hqrs Jammu. Shri Ramnish Gupta, SP Hqrs Jammu was posted as SP Hqrs, Jammu since 2021.
A function was held in this regard at R.S.Pura, which was organised by the Police Officers of Sub Division R.S.Pura. The function was attended by Police Officers, large number of people, civil society members, senior citizens, media persons and local Sarpanchs.
Police Officers as well as civilians presented souvenirs as a goodwill gesture to the outgoing officer and wished him the best for his future assignment.
The participants appreciated SP Hqrs , Sh. Ramnish Gupta. They hailed him for taking a number of measures for youth engagement, curbing drug addiction and checking various social evils.
Sh. Raminsh Gupta, SP Hqrs Jammu used to address the distress calls even during the dead of night,” they said, adding that he developed an emotional attachment with the locals and they used to send him a first invitation on occasions of social gatherings, marriage ceremonies and various sports events.
He used to give a patient hearing to people and try to help them in every possible way,” he said, adding that his role in curbing drug peddling and solving other cases of crime is commendable
