Jammu :An information was received at PS
Bishnah regarding one drug peddler
who was involved in narcotics trade
from long time.
On this special police teams of PS
Bishnah led by SHO PS Bishnah did
strenuous efforts and with the help
of CCTV footages of the area finally
arrested the accused peddler namely
Liyaqat Ali @ Gajja S/O Hussain
Mir R/0 Sikanderpur Kothey, Tehsil
Bishnah, Distt. Jammu and heroin
was recovered from him.
On this case FIR No. 07/2024 U/S
8/21/22 NDPS Act was registered
at PS Bishnah and investigation was
started.
During questioning accused
confessed his involvement in various
narcotic trade from a long time and
recently he purchased a Swift car
no.JK21B 4077 at the price of Rs
5 lakh 30 thousand. However, the
accused was not able to justify the
legal source from where he earned
this amount. Therefore in exercise of
powers conferred upon investigating
officer under Section 68-E with
Section 68-F of NDPS Act, 1985 the
said vehicle has been seized
