JAMMU: Apni Party Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir and other leaders of the Party today welcomed the Nagar Kirtan process here in Jammu.
The Nagar Kirtan was taken out from the famous Chand Kaur Gurudwara near Gumat in Jammu on the eye of Parkash Utasv of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
Whereas, the Apni Party leaders led by Ghulam Hassan Mir, Provincial President President Jammu, S. Manjit Singh and other leaders welcomed the Nagar Kirtan in Gandhi Nagar by graciously presenting a Swaroopa to the Panj-Pyare, symbolizing a gesture of unity and goodwill.
In a symbolic act of solidarity, prayers were offered for peace and brotherhood in the region by Gulam Hassan Mir.
The event was aimed to foster a sense of harmony and understanding among the diverse communities residing in Jammu and Kashmir.
The festivities were further heightened with the traditional Sikh practice of langer, exemplifying the spirit of communal sharing and inclusivity. The Apni Party remains committed to promoting cultural diversity and fostering an atmosphere of peace and unity in the region, said Manjit Singh.
