Jammu: An information was received at PS Bishnah regarding one drug peddler who was involved in narcotics trade from long time.
On this special police teams of PS Bishnah led by SHO PS Bishnah did strenuous efforts and with the help of CCTV footages of the area finally arrested the accused person namely Baldev Raj @ Raju S/O Kalu Ram R/O Kothey Bulanday Tehsil Bishnah, District Jammu.
It is pertinent to mention that accused was previously arrested in multiple cases presently detained under PIT NDPS and lodged in Distt. Jail Ambphalla Jammu for commission of offences punishable under 8/21/22 of NDPS Act 1985 and Excise act.
Moreover during investigation it has been found that the accused is holding immoveable property of description of having two residential houses situated at village Kothey Bulanday Tehsil Bishnah, District Jammu which has been derived from proceed of illegal Narcotic traffic in contravention of provisions of NDPS Act.
The said property of the accused has been seized as per the provisions of section 68-F of NDPS Act 1985.
Further investigation of the case is going on.
