Jammu : SDPO RS Pura Nikhil Gogna alongwith SHO PS RS Pura conducted a PCPG meeting at village Baspur Bangla, R.S Pura. Various Sarpanches, Panches, Shopkeepers, Senior citizens, locals and and other prominent persons participated in the meeting.
A threadbare discussion took place regarding drugs, theft cases, mining and other related issues. SDPO RS Pura Jammu also briefed them to inform the nearby PS/ PP if any information regarding drug trafficking is received to them. Other important issues discussed were regarding poor conditions of roads, theft cases, employment of the local youths etc. and various other important issues.
During the PCPG meeting, they were also advised to be vigilant in context with the upcoming republic day celebrations, and report matters to the police regarding, any drug consignment, detection of tunnels, arms and ammunitions, since the area is adjacent to the international border.
SDPO RS Pura Jammu flanked by SHO P/S RS Pura gave a patient hearing to the public and assured them of addressing the genuine demands in shortest possible time. Also people were encouraged to come forward in sharing information related to crime in their area.
Later SHO PS RS Pura thanked the participants.
