Jammu 2 January/ 2024 Narottam Sharma former Councillor ward No 3, Jammu Municipal Corporation along with other Bhartiya Janta party leader’s inaugurated an awareness as well as registration camp for “PM Vishwakarma Yojana.
While addressing the gathering on the occasion Narottam Sharma said that “PM “Vishwakarma Yojana” is beneficial for all sections of the society and it’s aimed to provide support to artisans who keep alive the traditional craft of India. He urged the people to take maximum benefit of this scheme and also aware other people of this scheme. PM Vishwakarma is a central scheme launched by the ministry of micro, small and mediums enterprises which provides collateral free credit,skill training, modern tools, incentives for digital transactions and market linkage support.
During the awareness camp it was informed that the category of trades that are included in this scheme are Carpenter, Boat maker,Armourer, Blacksmith,Hammer and tool kit maker, locksmith,Goldsmith,Sculptor,
The eligible tradesmen are also provided training under the scheme besides RS 500/ per day stipend ,after the successful training even they are provided toolkits.
The prominent people who attended this programme include Rajeev Charak District Jammu Prbhari Parmod kapahi Jammu district president BJP, parveen Kerni East mandal president, Amit Khanna ward president, Sanjay abrol,Sanjay Sharma,Keshav Shukla,Lucky Mehra,Rattan lal Akhil Gupta and other’s were present to grace the occasion.
