Week-long activities concluded at GCW Udhampur

UDHAMPUR JANUARY 25, 2024: A week-long activities concluded on the theme ‘Channelizing Youth Power for Nation Building’ under National Youth Day-2024 celebration at Government College for women (GCW) Udhampur.

The activities organised by Red Ribbon Club (RRC) of GCW Udhampur in collaboration with J&K AIDS Control Society and Higher Education Department J&K UT.

 All activities conducted  under the guidance of Principal of the College, Prof. Anjali Mahajan. In her address to the students, she motivated them to engage in community service and volunteer work, fostering a sense of responsibility and leadership so that they can make a positive impact on society.

A series of activities started with the poster-making competition. Students exhibited their skills by making thought-provoking and theme-based posters. In  rangoli-making competition, eight groups of students, each consisting of 2 members participated in the competition. Students showcased their creative skills through their unique ideas to commemorate the day.

An essay writing activity, the students enthusiastically presented their ideas and shared information about the life and contribution of Swami Vivekanand in the said event which was also attended by several faculty members of the institute.

The whole programme was coordinated by the Red Ribbon Club- Prof. Neha Gupta (Convener), Prof. Pardeep Singh, Prof. Meenakshi Jamwal, Dr. Sarabjeet Kour Sudan and Prof. Yash Kumar.
