Today Police Party of Ps Akhnoor led by *Sho Akhnoor Inspr Zaheer Mushtaq under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Mohan Lal Sharma* established special naka for checking of vehicles at Pannu Chowk. During cheking one E-Rikshaw bearing registration No. JK02DC-7946 coming from Akhnoor towards Jourian area when Police party signalled to stop, driver of the vehicle tried to escape from the spot. But naka party napped him. During questioning driver disclosed his name as Ashwani Kumar S/O Bishamber Dass R/O Samwan Khour A/P Koudewala District Jammu. Thereafter police party conduct search of said E-Rikshaw and during search *52 No’s of quarters of JK Special whiskey 180/180 ML* each were recovered. In this regard a Case FIR No.08/2024 U/s 48-a, Excise Act got registered. Further investigation of the case is going on.
