Dairy Darbar organized by Animal Husbandry Department at Panchayat Sial Jattan

UDHAMPUR, JANUARY 9: A vibrant “Dairy Darbar” was today hosted at Village Panchayat Ghar Sial Jattan as part of the Bharat Vikshit Sankalp Yatra.

 Mission Director Dairy Development Narinder Singh Bali graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from numerous individuals, including Self Help Groups, who gathered to take the Viksit Bharat pledge.

Addressing the gathering, Narinder Singh Bali emphasized the pivotal role of the dairy sector in generating employment opportunities. He urged farmers to delve into processing, branding, and marketing of milk and its derivatives to enhance their income. He also assured them of the government’s steadfast support for aspiring entrepreneurs.

Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Udhampur, shed light on the various beneficiary schemes actively implemented by the Animal Husbandry Department.

Furthermore, an interactive session was conducted to address queries from farmers and Self Help Groups.

 Notable figures present included Sarpanch Ashok Kumar, Dr. Suresh Kumar Thapa (Livestock Development Officer, Udhampur), Dr. Kabal Singh (Officer In-charge, Artificial Breeding Station, Udhampur), and several other dedicated staff members from the Animal Husbandry Department.
